Kevin W. DeVore

Professional Profile
Since 1996, Kevin has been helping people through some of the most difficult and trying times of their lives. Kevin’s commitment to the defense of his clients has earned him a reputation as a well-prepared and well-respected criminal defense attorney. Kevin has extensive trial experience representing individuals and corporations in Federal, State and Administrative Courts. For his extensive criminal trial experience and first-rate reputation, Kevin has been certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association as a Certified Criminal Law Specialist; one of only a handful of attorneys who have been so named. Kevin has tried more than 100 cases to juries and to the court all across Minnesota. Kevin has received jury acquittals on numerous occasions and has gained the reputation of being a successful criminal trial lawyer. Using the resources of Larson • King, Kevin has the support to handle large and complex cases.

Kevin divides his criminal practice into two areas: white collar and general criminal defense.

White Collar Defense
Working with companies and individuals, Kevin’s white collar defense practice focuses on criminal and investigation matters arising from insurance, real estate and securities frauds, banking and finance, health care plans, embezzlement, money laundering and other economic crimes, qui tam actions and criminal anti-trust. Kevin’s representation in this area of law ranges from responding to government request letters and subpoenas to internal corporate investigations to defending individuals and corporations against criminal charges in State and Federal court.

General Criminal Defense
Kevin has successfully defended clients in criminal matters such as murder, assault, violent crimes, drug crimes, sex crimes, DUI/DWI, traffic offenses, license revocations and forfeitures.
