Louise Dovre Bjorkman on Council on Crime And Justice Board10/01/2007 Louise Dovre Bjorkman was recently named to the board of directors of The Council on Crime and Justice, an independent, non-profit organization that has been a leader in the field of social and criminal justice in Minnesota for fifty years. The Council's mission is to address the causes and consequences of crime and violence through research, demonstration and advocacy. Since their founding in 1957, the Council has been at the forefront of developing new concepts and programs in alternative sanctions, offender services, victims’ rights, restorative justice and social and criminal justice systems and policy change. |
