Stephen Laitinen to present at Countdown to Trial: A Crash Course in Trial Preparation for Paralegals06/19/2009 Stephen Laitinen will present twice at Institute for Paralegal Education’s Seminar. Countdown to Trial: A Crash Course in Trial Preparation for Paralegals. Stephen's first presentation, "Tips for Assisting with Settlement Negotiations" will cover client preparation, presentation strategy and elements of emphasis. His second presentation "Succeeding at Trial" will cover court rules and practices; differences between federal, local and county courts; assisting with jury selection; and working with opposing counsel, court staff and the judge.
