David Wilk invited to present at Highlights of the 2009 Upper Midwest Employment Law Institute

David Wilk is one of a dozen presenters from the annual Upper Midwest Employment Law Institute who have been invited to return to present at the highlights version on Tuesday, August 18th in Minneapolis. David will reprise RIFs: A 360-Degree View, his presentation from the institute, in which attendees learn "start to finish" fundamentals in managing a reduction in force including: the decision to implement a RIF; selecting positions for elimination; complying with applicable notice requirements; obtaining enforceable releases; compiling separation packages and severance benefits; effectively communicating with employees, government, and the media; and a look forward to rehiring post-RIF.
