Results
Not all positive results for our clients require taking a case to verdict. The last three examples follow:

  1. Following focused discovery, prevailed on a multi-million dollar claim for attorney’s fees arising out of a patent case and indemnity agreement. The client is a major manufacturer of various materials, including in this case, screen mesh. United States District Court, District of Minnesota.
  2. Prevailed on a Daubert-type motion excluding a liability expert’s testimony in Texas State Court, Texas Panhandle. Motion to exclude was based on discovery targeting methodology and alternative cause. This exclusion of testimony cut $6,000,000 out of the damages alleged, allowing for a reasonable settlement of the lawsuit.
  3. Defense verdict in multimillion dollar dairy production case on the issue of causation following adverse findings on theories of negligence and breach of contract in U.S. District Court, District of Idaho.
