Kaylin C. Schmidt Joins Larson • King

Kaylin C. Schmidt (formerly Kaylin C. Ness) has joined Larson • King and will practice in the areas of commercial litigation, professional liability, health care, products liability, and complex torts. Prior to joining Larson • King, Kaylin practiced at a large Minneapolis law firm, where she handled professional liability and health care matters.

Kaylin earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where she served as President of Student Government, Executive Board Student Government – Committee Liaison, 1L Student Government Representative, and as the Chair of the Mission Committee. Kaylin also completed a business externship with Ecolab Inc., and served as a certified student attorney with the Hennepin County Juvenile Public Defender’s Office as a part of a misdemeanor clinic.

Kaylin received her B.A., magna cum laude, in healthcare administration and political science from Concordia College Moorhead, where she was on the varsity volleyball and track and field teams. A lifelong competitive athlete, Kaylin is instilled with the drive to perform at her best for each of her clients.
