Immigration Law

Immigration Law

Larson • King’s Immigration attorneys advise clients on employment-based and family-based immigration issues. Our immigration practice assists companies, large and small, which are sponsoring foreign nationals in the following nonimmigrant visa categories:

• H-1B Visas – Professional specialty occupation foreign workers
• L-1 Visas – Intracompany transferees
• E-2 Visas – Treaty investors

We also assist companies and individuals with the following types of immigration cases:

• PERM (labor certification) applications and preference petitions
• Adjustment of status  (“green card”) applications
• Family-based immigration (fiancés, spouses, children, parents, siblings)

Physician Immigration

Because immigrant doctors play such a critical role in the U.S. healthcare system (over 25% of all doctors in the U.S. are foreign-born), special immigration laws apply to them. These special laws include the two year home-residency requirement for foreign-born physicians coming to the U.S. for graduate medical education, and the five year national interest waiver for clinical physicians. Larson • King’s Immigration attorneys assist physicians and their employers with a wide-range of immigration petitions, including J-1 waivers, National Interest Waivers, cap-exempt H-1B petitions, O-1 visas for physicians of extraordinary ability, and many others.
