Aaron S. Brown has joined Larson • King. Aaron practices in the areas of products liability, complex torts, business litigation, and professional liability.

The 2023 legislative session brought sweeping changes to wrongful death claims in Minnesota. Governor Walz is expected to sign into law the “Survivorship Bill” (S.F. 997) approved by the state legislature earlier this session. The Survivorship Bill could substantially alter the scope of recoverable damages for current and future wrongful death claimants.

Julia A. Lines has joined Larson • King and will practice in the areas of professional liability, products liability, construction, and complex torts. Julia’s significant trial experience includes numerous complex jury and bench trials in state and federal courts, as well as arguing before the Minnesota Court of Appeals.

Kevin T. McCarthy is joining the partnership of Larson • King, LLP, after practicing with the firm as an associate. Kevin’s litigation and trial practice is focused in the areas of professional liability, product liability, and insurance coverage and bad faith. In his professional liability practice, Kevin counsels a wide range of professionals, including physicians, members of the insurance industry, directors, officers, and other fiduciaries, in defense against claims of professional negligence.
