Steven Macdonald has joined Larson • King as an attorney. Steven focuses his practice on business litigation, intellectual property, antitrust, employment, and appellate practice.
Before joining Larson • King, Steven served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Elise L. Larson at the Minnesota Court of Appeals, where he gained valuable insight into appellate advocacy and judicial decision-making.
Steven earned his J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where he ranked sixth in his class, served two years on law review, and earned a dispute resolution certificate. While in law school, he clerked at a full-service Minnesota law firm, gaining broad experience and developing a passion for solving complex, nuanced legal issues. He brings that analytical and solution-orientated mindset to Larson King, helping clients navigate challenging legal issues with thoughtful, practical solutions.
Drawing on almost 20 years of experience in high-performance athletics, Steven brings a disciplined and strategic approach to his legal practice. Before entering the legal profession, he coached NCAA Division I hockey and elite amateur athletics at the national and international levels.
