Matt’s practice focuses on antitrust, class action, commercial, and complex tort litigation. He leverages his background in public and private practice, in the courts, and as a mediator to provide Larson · King’s clients—plaintiffs and defendants—with discerning and proactive representation at all stages of litigation. Matt works with individual and institutional clients alike to achieve favorable results in state and federal courts across the country.

Before joining Larson · King, Matt worked in civil litigation and appeals for the largest public law office in Minnesota, clerked at the Minnesota Court of Appeals, and mediated a wide variety of cases to successful resolution. A second-career lawyer, Matt also spent several years working in and studying conflict resolution and national security in Europe, Washington, D.C., and Minnesota. Born and raised here, Matt spends as much of his free time as possible enjoying the great outdoors with his wife, Laura, and their dog, Monty.
