Patrick H. O’Neill, III has joined the partnership at Larson • King, after practicing with the firm as an associate since 2018.
Patrick is an accomplished litigator and trial lawyer who focuses his practice on commercial disputes, insurance coverage and bad faith matters, professional negligence claims, and fiduciary litigation.
Patrick handles cases from pre-suit investigation, discovery, trial, and through appeal. Patrick has extensive experience litigating a wide variety of business and commercial claims on behalf of individuals and institutions. In addition, he has a proven track record representing both policyholders and insurers on insurance coverage issues and maintains an active appellate practice.
Patrick’s successful practice earned him recognition from his peers, including selection for the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch list (2024-2026) and the Minnesota Super Lawyers Rising Stars list (2024-2025), an honor awarded to fewer than 2.5% of attorneys in the state.
Patrick is an active member in the legal community, serving as Director of the University of St. Thomas School of Law Alumni Board and as a member of the Council for the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Professionalism and Ethics Section. He is also a frequent writer and speaker on substantive legal topics, as well as litigation trends and practice. Patrick is a graduate of the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Saint Paul, a community social and economic leadership program.
