Chasse practices in the areas of products liability, mass/toxic tort litigation, commercial litigation, and employment litigation.
Prior to joining Larson • King, Chasse was an associate attorney at a national law firm, handling commercial litigation, environmental and toxic torts, employment, and product liability matters. Chasse assisted large and small organizations defending claims, from pre-litigation to trial, and some notable experience includes:
- Achieved dismissal of claims under the Minnesota Franchise Act, the Minnesota Deceptive Trade Practices Act, the Minnesota Human Rights Act, and Minnesota Patients’ Bill of Rights Act; and
- Defended several EEOC and MDHR employment investigations of alleged violations of Title VII and the MHRA.
Chasse received his J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where he was honored multiple times on the Dean’s List and with the Dean’s Award for Legal Writing. In addition to his legal studies, Chasse served as the Recruitment Chair and Publications Editor for the St. Thomas Journal of Law and Public Policy, and he externed with the Honorable Christian Sande in the Fourth Judicial District. Chasse also gained practical experience during law school—working in both litigation and transactional areas.
Chasse received his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Minnesota— Twin Cities and is a first-generation college graduate. During college, he was the lead play-by-play student broadcaster for the Big Ten Network for both men’s and women’s sports.
Outside of his practice, Chasse enjoys his life-long mission of martial arts and spending time with his partner, Ellie, and their dog. Chasse is also an avid cook and challenges himself by exploring new recipes.
